Military Campaign Chest of Oak Brass Table Top Collectors Cabinet Cigar Humidor

Please see our full shop here. Military Campaign Chest of Oak Brass Table Top Collectors Cabinet / Oak Cigar Humidor with zinc lined fitted interior – 1800’s. Comprised of grained Oak and flush brass handles to the sides, front and interior drawer fronts. Great build quality, item dated to the Victorian era late 1800’s. The humidor is executed in the campaign military tradition. The interior of the drawers is lined in Cedar wood which is what kept cigars fresh; this is not officially a Humidor modern humidors have humidity regulators, however it’s in day this would’ve been the height of engineering. One drawer is additionally lined with zinc. Condition: In great structural condition, with wonderful patina and wood grain throughout. Height: 30.5cm I Width: 30.5cm I Depth: 23.5cm. Superb Swiss Davidoff Wooden Rosewood Cigar Humidor w Brass Campaign Handles. This is a handsome estate found vintage cigar humidor from Davidoff of Basel, Switzerland. The elegantly hand crafted rosewood box features brass campaign handles. The lid lifts to reveal a digital gauge with a brand new battery installed. The underside is felt lined. Dimensions: 13 3/4 x 9 x 5 5/8 Condition: In overall very good condition consistent with age and use. There is a tiny ding to the front edge of the lid. Very minor surface scratches. Superb Army & Navy Hallmarked Silver & Oak Campaign Cigar Humidor Desk Box C1897

A solid oak compagine cigar humidor made from golden oak in 1897 with HALLMARKED silver lock and fittings. Extremely rare as silver was both valuable and rare and used at the time as currency. And the silversmith hallmark is Frederick Bradford Mc Cray who was born in 1833 and joined the 14th foot regiment in 1854. At some point founding the company that created this box. He died in 1914. The box was made from top quality solid golden oak and is fully fitted out as a cigar humidor lined in cedar wood. Superb condition for age however one hinge is damaged and a small piece of cedar wood on the side has broken off. Originally there would have been a name plate on the top of the box also The box is 123 years old and all otherwise complete. The key is missing however luckily having a brahmah lock one could be ordered from the store in marylebone London. Beautiful museum grade rare piece. Only one known to exist. And only box we have ever seen with solid silver locks and fittings. Superb patina to the oak. A perfect size box for modern use and a rugged clearly campaign feel and look.
