An absolutely magnificent piece of antique woodwork for a modern connoisseur of fine cigars. This piece is brilliantly brass bound and inlaid. Providing a compartmentalized cigar humidor. The end pieces of each compartment can be moved to provide space for larger or smaller cigars. The lock plate is stamped E. TURNER” along with two stamps of the letter “L inside a circle. The handles are flush with the sides and can be moved up to reveal them. The smell of cigars wafts through the air when this thing is opened- I can only imagine who this piece belonged to and the caliber of cigars it accommodated throughout the years. 20″ wide x 10.25 deep x 7.125″ high. Weighs slightly under 15 pounds. I do not have the key. There is a small piece of inlay missing from the front-left side of the piece. There is minor shrinkage, a crack on the top left portion oft he lid, but otherwise in great condition for its age. Thank you for looking and please have a look at my other items.
