All of the pieces from this Estate are from a very prestigious southern Mansion in Cleveland County, NC. This is a rare and stunning find! This humidor is stamped for Middletown Plate Company Quadruple Plate and is ca. The piece is also stamped 06 Hard White Metal 122. There is expected finish wear and some damage. The dog’s tail has a break in it but is still attached. There is a dent in the side shown in photos as well as one of the side small handle pieces is broken off, but is in the piece so it could be repaired. The humidor is just a great find and a rare piece of history. The box/case has beautifully adorned/ornate feet and measures approx. 9 3/8″ x 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ tall to top of dog or 3 3/4″ tall to just the top of box.
