Please examine all pics closely and excuse the reflection/blur in some pics. I’m a tinkerer, not an expert and do no more than I’m capable. From the estate of a retired executive and quality pipe collector; hasn’t smoked in 10+ years; all one owner; many 30 – 60+ years old; well kept. Listed separately and as one large lot (see last pic). Genuine walnut, porcelain lined, a few character marks due to age/use. Original tag on felt bottom; finger grip opening. Measurements shown in pics; weighs about 2 3/4 lbs. Would make a great GIFT or add to your own collection. Display, collect, use, re-purpose, or GIFT. I have lots of QUALITY pipes listed. Up For Sale: Vtg CIGAR HUMIDOR/ TRINKET/JEWELRY BOX WALNUT Decatur Industries With Info! Condition: Nice, pre-owned, used piece in very good to excellent condition. Beautiful grain to the wood chest, Has original information paper on use & care inside. Bottom exterior has original sticker of mfg. NICE chest which can be used for dresser top, jewelry chest, trinket box, man or woman, lined interior of wood, solid hinges and lid fits secure. Measures: 11″ x 4″ x 8. See all photos for complete visual description and feel free to ask questions If I left something off. The lid has some slight scratching or imperfections which just needs polishing. Vintage Decatur Industries Solid Walnut Humidor-Cedar Lining

This is a solid Walnut Humidor made by the Decatur Industries Company of Decatur, Illinois. It is lined with solid cedar on the top and bottom. Inside it still has the original humidifier, and also, the original Decatur Industries hygrometer, and thermostat. You might note in the photos that they had them imported from France. The Humidor is large, bigger than any Decatur Industries humidors that we have encountered. It measures nearly 14.5 inches long, 9.25 inches wide, and. 6.25 inches tall. It weighs over 7 pounds. Decatur Industries of Decatur, Indiana, made a variety of solid wood tobacco accessories during the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s, and possibly later. The Company history is a bit sketchy but they made a quality product for the time, always using solid wood, usually walnut. This Humidor is a bit unusual for its size, its design, and for being in such good condition. It is not perfect, having a few tiny blemishes, some marring, small dents, water marks on the top, all shown in the photos, but for its age, over 50 years old, it is doing pretty well. Note: Most, if not all of the imperfections could easily be sanded, or buffed with steel wool and removed, but we left it as we found it. We thought a collector of vintage humidors might find it of interest.

Vintage Decatur Industries Large Oval Wood 18 Pipe Stand & Tobacco Humidor Jar. Holds18 pipes Stand measures 13 inches wide by 6 inches tall. Humidor barrel measures 6 inches at its widest by 6 1/2 inches to the top of the lid. This pipe stand humidor is in good used condition; stand shows signs of age and use, some scuffs and scratches, the humidor looks to have old glue may have been repaired previously, this stand is not perfect but still very presentable.. This is a neat one for your collection.

Approx– 11″ by 8″ by 4 1/8 h. Hinges solid and secure. Very handsome figured wood grain.
