Here we are offering a LOVELY Light Blue Jasper Ware Humidor decorated with a Fox Hunt Scene that goes all the way around the body in a applied Bright White, Border of White four petal flowers decorate the cover. The fittings are metal. It has a glossy blue interior and it is has the black ink stamp marked “Comoy’s of London , Dudson Hanley, Jasper Ware Made in England since 1800″. Exact time of production is not known to me. In excellent condition throughout. I have looked high and low and found NO Other pieces like this, the Fox Hunt Scene, even with a Dog attacked Dead Fox Scene, is quite Uniquely Rare. This Humidor measures almost 5″ high to rim/lip, 5¾” across rim, 4-5/8″ across cover, 6″ across widest point of the body and 4¾ across the in-mold foot. Estate Fresh, here we are offering a LOVELY Light PINK Jasper Ware Humidor decorated with a Fox Hunt Scene that goes all the way around the body in a applied Bright White, Border of White four petal flowers decorate the cover. The fittings are a non-magnetic metal, nickel silver. It has a glossy pink interior and it is black ink stamp marked Comoy’s of. Dudson Hanley, Jasper Ware Made in. This is made with pink tinted earthenware with detailed applied white slip decoration. Exact time of production is not known to me. I have looked high and low and found NO Other pieces like this, the Fox Hunt Scene, even with a Dog attacked Dead Fox Scene, is quite Uniquely Rare. If you have any information to share, Please do, and Ill pass it along. This Humidor measures almost 5″ high to rim/lip, 5¾” across rim, 4-5/8″ across cover, 6″ across widest point of the body and 4¾ across the in-mold foot. Overall this is in VERY, VERY GOOD condition for its age, and it was used, we cleaned out the tobacco. It does have some production issues, dimples, dark specks in body, in-mold imperfections and there are some firing or age cracks with discolor in/on the white applied decorations. It has normal age wear discolor on foot/base, needs some cleaning and some dark scuffs on the body. There are NO missing pieces, NO chips, NO nicks, NO other cracks and NO repairs. PLEASE VIEW all pictures, TO SEE more about CONDITION. Color may vary a bit in my pictures, due to lighting, reflection and shadows. Colors, if any, looks much better in person. Vtg Ceramic HUMIDOR W Germany Tobacco Jar Hunt Scene Tobacco Cigar. There is a leather label on the bottom of the humidor which reads. Marshall Field and Company – Made in West Germany. This leather circle is intact but has become partially unglued. On the bottom of the humidor, underneath the leather circle, there is a gold. (this word is almost illegible). The wooden top still retains the original sponge on the inside. A dramatic and high-spirited 18th century hunt scene is portrayed through transferware on the humidor. Vibrantly garbed noblemen on horses with dogs rushing forward in packs, set the scene against a lush and regal background. This handsome humidor is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or stains. There are a few, minute nicks to the wood cover, but are barely visible (see photos). Measurements: 5 1/4″ in height and 5″ in diameter (at the widest). We wrap all our items very carefully. Antique BRASS HUMIDOR CIGAR BOX CASKET. Very heavy and highly l made, nicely ornate with open work featuring mythological scene all around and on top of lid. Lined in wood inside. Acorn shaped puller to open box. Overall box is in good shape , but I would like to sell it in as is condition, as there is some wear to the piece. Top lid shows oxidation on head of figure on left and top right corner(see last photo and photo # 11) and front side. W eights 7Lb 7oz. Measures 1″ x 4-1/2″ x 6-1/2. Inside wood shows wear (photos 8-9-10). Not perfect, but still a beautiful work of art. Please ask for more photos as needed. I will be happy to send more.
