Terra Cotta Lion & Antelope. This Figural Terra Cotta Tobacco/Cigar/Cigarette Stand is in very good antique condition with only minor wear that is consistent with age and use. It stands approximately 8″ high, by 8″ long and 5 3/4″ wide and it has the impressed numbers “1629” and “CS on the bottom. It is probably German and dates around the late 1800’s. Just a note, in this age of no smoking, this figural item could be used as a desk ornament for holding pens, pencils, paper clips, etc. It could also be used as what it is – a wonderful antique terra cotta sculpture.
