Very Rare and Immaculate Vintage Leather Clad Wood Lined Cigar Humidor/Case, Cuban Cigar Company. Upmann is a Cuban brand of premium cigars established by banker Hermann Dietrich Upmann. In 1843, a German banker by the name of Hermann Dietrich Upmann landed in Havana. He was there to set up a business for a German import/export company. Along with establishing a banking business catering to dealers and. Manufacturers, Upmann bought a local cigar factory and the first H. Upmann cigar brand was born in 1844. Hermann worked until 1890 and was succeeded by his nephew, Heinrich. This piece is rare, and is in immaculate condition for its age. It is clad in leather and lined with cedar wood. There is a signature inside the lid. This piece is from approximately the late 1970’s and has been kept in excellent condition. Measurements: 8″ x 4″ x 5.5. CONDITION: The items in my shop are vintage or antique and have been previously worn or used. Items will show wear commensurate with their age and any major flaws will be noted. Antique Art Nouveau Early Villeroy & Boch Pottery Humidor 137 Very Rare

ART NOUVEAU, VILLEROY & BOCH POTTERY HUMIDOR/COVERED JAR: This gorgeous antique pottery piece is very rare and unique. It is styled in a wonderful art nouveau flair. The cover also has a beautiful acorn shaped knob on the top. The glaze is a mottled glaze containing shades of blue and mauve. It is extremely pleasing to the eye. The interior of this covered jar is glazed in mauve. It is approximately 8 tall from base to top of the acorn knob. It is approximately 5 wide. It is signed on the bottom with the Villeroy & Boch mark, the number 137 and the artist’s initials. This piece is in wonderful vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or repairs.
