Gorgeous Elie Blue Tabletop Humidor 200 cigar capacity circa 1980’s/1990’s Finish: Walnut Burl with border and Lacquered High gloss topcoat. INCLUDES: One Key, original Elie Blue Hydrometer, Original humidifiers that attach via magnet, original care/use booklet with Walnut Burl sample piece it was crafted from, and one (optional) Elie Blue Humidifier canister. Elie Bleu humidors are meticulously handcrafted in Paris, often taking up to six months to produce. The exterior features an exquisite, high-gloss finish, typically achieved through eight coats of lacquer. The interior is lined with cedar wood, known for its ability to absorb and restore humidity, which is ideal for preserving cigars. (The included Elie Blue cannister humidifier fits on the side if you don’t use the secondary top tray and/or prefer not to use the humidifiers attached to the lid) Condition: This box is Pre-owned but still in excellent condition overall, especially for its age. It is not perfect. There are some small, light, fine scratches in the lacquered finish from natural wear and usage over the years. There are also 3 very small and relatively shallow chips in the top layer of the lacquer, that are shown as best as I could in the photos. These marks are really only visible at certain angles and/or under certain lighting conditions. The brass handles are in excellent condition, with minimal wear marks. The faceplates on the inside humidifiers themselves show signs of wear on the brass plating, some light oxidation, and usage from over the years.. The wax seal on the decorative string on the key has some small cracks in it. You can get new replacement keys from Elie Blue if that bothers you. The Brass plating on the optional humidifer is worn, and the canister does show signs of wear/usage. I uploaded as many detailed pictures as I could to show the Humidor’s actual condition to the best of my ability. It will be fully insured for the listing price.
