Title: Rarest 1890s German Chinaman Porcelain Humidor Tobacco Jar Incense Holder. The only mark I can see is a “2” incised in the ceramic on the bottom. Measures 12.5 high, has a couple of chips, one on the base, and the other on the underside of the lid. We believe it is a humidor and tobacco jar and possibly an incense holder. Rare French Victorian & Bronze Dog Humidor With Match Safe & Stricker

This humidor is just awesome! Its a bronze dog in the dog house! To the right of the dog in the window, there is a gilt bronze Wisteria vine and to the left of it is a pull chain. When you pull down the pull, it opens the top of the humidor and also opens the door to find the match holder. The top opens but the door is missing a bracket and does not open now. This box is in need of some repair but it is so unusual that it is a “must have” for the pipe smoker! It is missing some molding and also in a couple of spots it is missing some veneer, but all of this can be fixed. The bronze trellis and the dog are very detailed and they have a beautiful patina. The gilt bronze trellis has retained almost all of its gilding and color. Inside the humidor is a silvered paper that surrounded the tobacco and part of it came loose and is lost. The box stands about. 7 1/2″ high by about 6 1/2″ wide by 8 deep. A wonderful humidor to add to your collection or home decor! UP FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS THIS: Antique Wooden Cigar Humidor. It is made out of Exotic woods. It has a map of South America Inlaid on the top. It is unusual because when you lift the lid the Cigar slots are attached to the inside of the lid. It holds 24 Cigars. It measures 10″ long at the base by 7 3/4″ wide by 4 3/4 high. Overall condition is really nice for its age. There is one flake off the back corner done many many years ago. Does not take away from this unusual humidor. Does not have a makers mark.
