Antique to Vintage Hand Carved Dog Smoker’s Stand, Cigar Caddy, Cutter & Match Striker. All items and photos are the express property of Antiques & Uncommon Treasure. Entirely hand crafted, it’s got a tobacco box or caddy upon which the sweetest little hand carved Black Forest type dog or puppy is mounted. Lifelike glass eyes, a little collar with brass studs – darling details. Found in France – might be Black Forest. I’ve got lots of photos to show it from all angles, and measurements are noted on the photos. Very good to excellent condition for age and type. It’s without chips or cracks or damage, but it’s also without 2 of the silver metal rims encircling the cigar holder or are those for pipe stems? It has holders for 10, and only 8 have rims. Notable that at least each side is uniform. Everything else is just fine. We’re easy to deal with. You are very important! Our fine inventory is very important. UP FOR SALE IS A BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE GLASS TOBACCO JAR HUMIDOR WITH METAL LID. THERE IS A PIPE SHAPE ATTACHED TO THE LID FOR HOLDING MATCHES. I THINK THIS LID MAY BE SILVER PLATE??? IT IS MARKED ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE LID WITH 808. THE GLASS JAR STARTS OUT WITH A PALE YELLOW COLOR AT THE TOP AND THEN GOES TO A BEAUTIFUL GREEN ALL THE REST OF THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BOWL. DECORATED WITH PIPES, CIGARS, AND MATCHES. I CANNOT FIND ANY OTHER MARKINGS ON THE GLASS OR THE METAL LID. MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 6 TALL TO THE TOP OF THE PIPE ON THE LID. Humidor Match Holder Striker Man in Barrel Wearing Fez. Man wearing fez smoking a pipe popping out of barrel. Painted staves with message in French Bonheur De La Vie. The Happiness Of Life. The top of his fez is open so it would probably take matches and the top banded rim of the barrel is probably the strike surface. Late 19ht or Early 20th C. Measures: 6 3/4″ tall by 3 1/2″ across widest point by 3 1/2 deep Marked: see photo (only a number 4 on bottom, I would assume it is French) Condition: Very Good/Good (chips to rim). Lrg Antique Hand Carved Black Forest Pipe Tobacco Humidor w Match holder

On the front of this large, antique Black Forest Humidor is a carved, Falconer holding his Falcon in one hand while holding a basket of birds in the other, after a day of hunting. This circa-1890s Carved Pipe Tobacco Humidor measures 10 ¼ by 7 ½ square and at the back is a draw for storing your pipes. Attached to this drawer is a carved wood cup for matches. The back of the draw is painted with a finish that is very rough so you can strike your match. Overall this late 19th century, Black Forest Pipe Tobacco Humidor is in wonderful original condition. There is a shrinkage separation on the left side that is strong, but that it. Up for sale is a wonderful antique glass and bronze lidded tobacco jar. The bronze lid features a removable lid along with a match box holder on the top with an embossed cameo design. It mounts to a thick clear glass jar with a gorgeous silhouette. It has acquired a lovely patina from age, in good used condition and measures 9 3/4 inches tall by 5 inches wide.
