ESTATE ITEM: Vintage Antique Cigar/Humidor? Box Includes Norfolk Coal receipts, 3 glass tubes, a vintage Blake miners light and a very unique sword tie clip? This is an great piece! Its a unique humidor/cigar box? This is a very solid box. The hard steel snaps and hinges are attached with opposing colored screws and work flawlessly. The labels are real and original. Made by Julius Bien Co. 1911 Lithography w/relief pressed gold extrusion inlay. Original cold press colors in frame with gold press inlay. Gold ribbed inner framing of woman. The base is apparent slate/shale and measures: Approx. 1/8″ thick x 14″ long x 7″ wide x 10″ high w/handle. INSIDE BOX measures: 6 1/2″ deep x 4 13/16″ wide x 9 1/4 long. It is in good shape with a few small nicks from use, see the photos. Please review the information and photos and make your own determination. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Inside the box we found receipts from Norfolk Coal dating way back. We also found 3 glass tubes (for the cigars I suppose). Also a very unique sword tie pin? Not sure but I think it’s a tie pin.
