There is a leather label on the bottom of the humidor which reads. Marshall Field and Company – Made in West Germany. This leather circle is intact but has become partially unglued. On the bottom of the humidor, underneath the leather circle, there is a gold. (this word is almost illegible). The wooden top still retains the original sponge on the inside. A dramatic and high-spirited 18th century hunt scene is portrayed through transferware on the humidor. Vibrantly garbed noblemen on horses with dogs rushing forward in packs, set the scene against a lush and regal background. This handsome humidor is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or stains. There are a few, minute nicks to the wood cover, but are barely visible (see photos). Measurements: 5 1/4″ in height and 5″ in diameter (at the widest). We wrap all our items very carefully.
