Alfred Dunhill London Vintage 1930s Art Deco Pipe Tobacco Humidor Smoking Pipe Display Leather. Up for sale is a RARE example of a Beautiful 1930s pipe humidor. This piece is estate fresh and is made almost entirely of brown leather. The humidor features a hinged top, Which when opened, drops down the front panel to expose a pipe display area. The display allows for 6 pipes to be stored. Behind the display is a white, glass lined humidor with a removable leather top. The humidor itself is 5.5 x 9 x3. Ideal for tobacco storage. This example is a rare version as it is in the deco style as evidenced by the handle, and upholstered in leather. All of the other humidors from dunhill of this era, that I have seen are made of wood. The top lid is embossed with a name George L. This piece is made by Alfred Dunhill of London. The unit is in great overall shape and complete. Some wear on the exterior corners and edges and discoloration leather, but fantastic overall shape! The humidor could be conditioned with leather conditioner if wanted, or left as is. I really like the great honey brown patina this has developed. Would be beautiful on any desk or in a study.
