Vintage Wedgwood Blue Jasper Ware Tobacco Jar Humidor Fox Hunt Scene

Welcome to my item! Here we are offering a LOVELY Light Blue Jasper Ware Humidor decorated with a Fox Hunt Scene that goes all the way around the body in a applied Bright White, Border of White four petal flowers decorate the cover. The fittings are metal. It has a glossy blue interior and it is has the black ink stamp marked “Comoy’s of London , Dudson Hanley, Jasper Ware Made in England since 1800″. Exact time of production is not known to me. In excellent condition throughout. I have looked high and low and found NO Other pieces like this, the Fox Hunt Scene, even with a Dog attacked Dead Fox Scene, is quite Uniquely Rare. This Humidor measures almost 5″ high to rim/lip, 5¾” across rim, 4-5/8″ across cover, 6″ across widest point of the body and 4¾ across the in-mold foot. It measures 11 1/2″ long by 7 1/2″ deep by 4 1/4 tall. Weighs 4 lbs 9 oz. In excellent vintage condition. The upper wood exterior is nearly blemish-free. The bottom shows wear. Inside has a pleasant tobacco smell. The plastic bottom is intact. The metal lining on the top. Is stained and has light tarnish. Whatever came attached to the clip is gone. Lrg Antique Hand Carved Black Forest Pipe Tobacco Humidor w Match holder

On the front of this large, antique Black Forest Humidor is a carved, Falconer holding his Falcon in one hand while holding a basket of birds in the other, after a day of hunting. This circa-1890s Carved Pipe Tobacco Humidor measures 10 ¼ by 7 ½ square and at the back is a draw for storing your pipes. Attached to this drawer is a carved wood cup for matches. The back of the draw is painted with a finish that is very rough so you can strike your match. Overall this late 19th century, Black Forest Pipe Tobacco Humidor is in wonderful original condition. There is a shrinkage separation on the left side that is strong, but that it. Antique Sarreguemines Porcelain Humidor Cigar Holder French Majolica Unpainted

Antiques, Fine Art & Collectibles. Antique Sarreguemines Porcelain Humidor Cigar Holder French Majolica Unpainted. DESCRIPTION Amusing Majolica monkey pianist tobacco jar made by Sarreguemines around 1880. Rarely found complete with his lid the chimpanzee wears pants, jacket and cravat. As he sits at the piano with his dour face there are music sheets strewn around by his feet and two books titled “opera” and themes. The stoneware cigar holder humidor is usually painted and was a factory blank. It is marked on the underside with the shape number of 231 only. This is a good example of anthromorphic art in porcelain and often called the “Music-loving Monkey” or “Monkey on the piano” by collectors. Stamped: 231 This would suit any vintage coffee table, porcelain collection. A great housewarming or early birthday gift idea. MEASUREMENTS Porcelain humidor measures 8″ tall by 5″ deep by 9 wide and weighs 3lb 10oz. CONDITION In good usable condition and ready to display. There is a large chip from lid at the top of the piano, another edge is chipped, a third edge has a crack in it and the vase on top is chipped. There is also a missing chip from the bottom edge near the foot and his tail is missing (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
