Rare Vintage 1979 Zenith-Gouda Holland Delft Tobacco Jar Humidor Seals No. Unlike some of the other jars designed for tourists, this one was designed to hold actual pipe tobacco. Zenith-Gouda of Holland made only 100 limited edition Holland Delft tobacco jars in 1979 for The Tinder Box. Not an antique, this vintage jar was designed in 20th century to maintain humidity of the tobacco and has a seal to keep air from the inside. The brass lid collar has a small separation, typical wear for these vintage tobacco jars. If you look at others like this, you will see the same separation, at the seam. Despite this, the lid does seal thanks to the foam gasket around its mouth. WE QUICKLY RESPOND TO ALL OFFERS.
