Rare 1920s Girard Educators litho 50 cigar humidor tin in good condition
This rare 1920s “Girard Educators” litho 50 cigar humidor tin, measuring 5 1/2″ x 5 5/8″, is in good condition with no rust. One crease near the bottom edge and some minor age related paint chips and scratches. This highly attractive multicolored tin was made by the Liberty Can Company, Lancaster, PA. It features a detailed portrait of Stephen Girard, a french immigrant and merchant who died in 1831. At the time of his death Girard was considered to be the wealthiest man in America. He left an endowment for the foundation of Girard College which opened in Philadelphia, PA in 1848. The cigars were manufactured by Antonio Roig & Langsdorf Cigar Company, Philadelphia, PA in Factory 872, 1st District, PA.

This rare 1930s “The Elm” litho 50 cigar humidor tin, measuring 5 3/8″ x 5 3/4″, is in good condition with no rust, one dent and a pin hole in the top, and some age related paints scratches and chips. The lid cannot be opened. This detailed, colorful tin features a magnificent elm tree at the corner of Canal and Elm Streets in New York in 1812. The tobacco was manufactured by the C. Company in Factory 2/4-649, Manilla, Philippines, Islands.

This scarce 1910s “Advisor” paper label 50 cigar humidor tin, measuring 5 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, is in good condition with no rust, some dimple dents on the lid and some age related paper discoloration on the label. This very attractive white tin with an olive green lid features red lettering advertising the King Size “Advisor “cigar brand. The cigars were manufactured in Factory 64, 1st District of PA.

Beautiful an d Old Majolica Elephant Figural Tobacco Jar Humidor, 6 3/4″H x 6″ approx. We guarantee NO reproductions of any kind. This is a very nice majolica elephant humidor. Except a couple of small professional repaired chips to the inner rims as seen in the pictures, it has no crack or hairline and is relatively clean. Like most antique majolica, it has some crazing and discoloration. This humidor is being offered in as is due to the small repairs. Any question, please ask. Please disregard the lighting.

Most of the original high gloss finish remains. This highly attractive multicolored tin was made by the Liberty Can Company, Lancaster, PA. This scarce 1940s “Cyrus the Great” cardboard humidor 50 cigar tin, measuring 5 3/4″ x 5 3/8″, in is excellent condition with no dents and some minor age related paper scrapes and discoloration. This highly attractive multicolored canister features a detailed portrait of Cyrus the Great (circa 600 BC – 529 BC), the founder of Achaemenid, the first Persian Empire. Cyrus was a considered to be a very tolerant and merciful ruler. The cigars were manufactured by the Ehrlich & Gertz, Chicago, IL, in Factory 1584, 1st District. This is an exceptional example of a WWII cardboard canister which rarely comes up for sale in this condition.

This scarce 1900s “National” litho 50 cigar humidor tin, measuring 5 3/8″ x 4″ x 6 1/8, is in very good condition with one dimple dent in the lid, a very small spot of superficial rust on the interior side and some minor age related paint scratches and chips. Much of the original high gloss finish remains. The hinge is in excellent working order. This very attractive green tin was made by Heekin Can Company, Cincinnati, OH. The cigars were manufactured by the Cigar Manufacturers Co-operative, Company, Cincinnati, OH in Factory 12, 1st District of Ohio. Cincinnati was one of the first cities to unionize its cigar workers. This tin is very scarce and important in cigar manufacturing history.
