This is a beautiful vintage glass base and brass lid humidor. It has a solid cast brass lid in an art nouveau leaf design. The lid has a dark vintage patina. The glass base is a round paneled design in heavy clear glass. The humidor is 8″ tall and 5 1/4″ across. Great condition -no nicks or chips. CIGAR BOX HUMIDOR Hand painted HEAVY BASE VINTAGE ANTIQUE rare unique unusual

Vintage / Antique – age unknown. Outside – 28 cm long, 8 cm wide, and 6 cm high. Inside – 25 cm long, 5 cm wide. Size infers it was made to fit premium quality Cuban-type cigars. Heavy 1110 grams in weight. I think it has a porcelain base – which makes sense as a material that would help maintain inside temperature (humidor) under the decoration. It is a really lovely box – looks and feels like a quality piece – especially so with the substantial weight of materials used. Unlike plain timber vintage/antique cigar boxes it looks good AND is made of materials that help maintain the inside temperature. I used the word’Rare’ because I was unable to find anything even remotely comparable through online searches. If you can find anything similar, please let me know. Vintage Custom Handmade Large & Heavy Wooden Cigar Humidor Box. Approximate measurements 17.5″ long x 11.5″ deep x 5.75 tall I acquired this from a wonderful gentleman. He and his family owned a popular restaurant in Miami. From what he told me it was quite a popular place and they even filmed a TV show in it many times. This beautiful humidor was given as a gift to him. As you can see from the pictures it is jet black with a mirror finish. The overall condition especially given its age I would say is very nice. Lion Head Bronze Humidor Ink Well Feng Shui large and heavy unmarked approx 8x10

Here is your chance to own this fabulous and rare LION HEAD HUMIDOR. It measures approximately 8″ in diameter and approximately 10″ in height. The lid is hinged nicely and closes firmly and snugly. The inner container that holds the tobacco is slightly tarnished from age but i did not want to do any cleaning to not harm the finish. There is an inkwell insert that was at some time added as the fitted glass bowl with metal surround and lid is not nearly deep enough to fill the entire humidor void inside. The item could be used either way at the buyers discretion. I did not find any markings, stamps, or foundry marks on the piece but I did not want to remove the fabric encrusted base to expose the underside to look for additional marks. The only other piece I located like it was through a dealer on ruby lane that identified it as a humidor but no other details have been forthcoming. While prices are very competitive they are still mostly negotiable as some funds beat no funds for my class. Have a great day.
