Custom Made Antique English Regency Inlaid Rosewood Humidor

An absolutely magnificent piece of antique woodwork for a modern connoisseur of fine cigars. This piece is brilliantly brass bound and inlaid. Providing a compartmentalized cigar humidor. The end pieces of each compartment can be moved to provide space for larger or smaller cigars. The lock plate is stamped E. TURNER” along with two stamps of the letter “L inside a circle. The handles are flush with the sides and can be moved up to reveal them. The smell of cigars wafts through the air when this thing is opened- I can only imagine who this piece belonged to and the caliber of cigars it accommodated throughout the years. 20″ wide x 10.25 deep x 7.125″ high. Weighs slightly under 15 pounds. I do not have the key. There is a small piece of inlay missing from the front-left side of the piece. There is minor shrinkage, a crack on the top left portion oft he lid, but otherwise in great condition for its age. Thank you for looking and please have a look at my other items. He is listed in a professional advertisement in a 1911 periodical in Cuba see photo. This is a real deal Cuban mahogany hand carved antique humidor. Measures 10.5 x 8.2 x 5 tall. Vintage Alfred Dunhill Cigar Humidor burl wood inlaid copper, 12.25 X 10.5 X 5.5

This is a vintage Alfred Dunhill cigar humidor. There are no tags indicating the country of origin, but judging by its age, it was made in London. This humidor goes back decades, as indicated by the inlaid copper lining and inner lid. It’s a beautiful burl wood exterior, with Spanish cedar lined interior. Push button to open (sorry, no key to lock it). Felt lined on outside bottom. Piano hinge and side hinge. Copper lined top on the inside and around edges. Maker’s plaque is still affixed. Beautiful inside and out. Condition is pretty good, given its age. The finish on the outer burl wood is beginning to show its age, but there are no missing sections, just some gentle crackling. There’s a few scratches here and there on the exterior, consistent with gentle use. The interior is outstanding. No split wood or rotten wood. The copper is clean and shiny, with only a gentle patina in some areas. Please see the photos for a complete visual. I’d be happy to send additional photos of any areas you’d like to see. The outer dimensions are 12.25 inches long, 10.5 inches wide, and 5.5 inches high. It’s a hefty thing, weighing in at just under 8 pounds. I answer all questions, and respond to all offers! Empty humidor box made from various wood veneers, inlaid and lacquer on the outside in an interesting pattern. The inside is lined with cedar to retain the moisture levels and there is a magnetic disc on the lid where a hygrometer could be attached. This is a small humidor which would make it ideal for traveling due to its compact nature. A great addition to any smoking room, man cave or bar area. This would make a great early holiday gift. MEASUREMENTS Wooden humidor measures 8.5″ wide by 8.5″ long by 4 deep weighs 3lbs. CONDITION In good condition and ready to use with a couple of light surface scratch scuff marks (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
