Superb fit and finish. I could not believe this level of craftsmanship still exists. Item is circa 1970-80. No defects or issues, lock and key all works. Humidification sponge have been replaced. I have not tested the meter. No cracks or warping in the wood. Hairline superficial cosmetic scratches are present but only visible under certain light or angle. Excellent presentation and condition. See pictures and ask questions. All traditional cabinet making that could be seen on the corners of the box. Constructed the old fashioned way. Fit and finish is so precise that you can hardly see any seems between the wood panels. Even back hinges are made of one piece of wood. Up for sale is a high quality antique 19th century ornate wood and brass smoking box. It’s made by hand out of a varnished oak and has ornate brass appliqués on each corner and edge along with very elaborate handles on each side. It has a unique feature that when the upper hinged lid open it mechanically opens the lower cigar storage drawer on the front. The box has a skeleton key locking mechanism on the front but is missing the key. It’s in very nice condition, has acquired a great patina from age and measures 10 3/4 inches tall by 12 inches long by 7 1/4 inches wide. Large Elie Bleu Burr walnut humidor offered in fantastic condition with a sensible BIN price. Condition is really good for its age (C 2000) with only a couple of minor issues. Firstly one of the Internet handles is missing from the lift out tray (see pic) and there are a couple of hardly noticeable surface scratches to the front on the right hand side. Up for sale is a high quality antique 19th century handmade Eastlake style wooden cigar humidor box. It’s beautifully dovetailed together on all sides and has acquired a lovely patina from age. It has an exquisite Eastlake handle mounted to the front made of an ornate gilded brass with attached wooden spherical ends. The handle pivots up and down on a ball joint exposing the hidden key lock underneath. It opens on a hinge and is lined with solid stone under the lid along with all sides of the. They were added to keep tobacco products fresh. The box measures 11 1/2 inches long by 9 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches tall. It is missing the key, and has cracking to the stone on the bottom half. It’s made out of a high glossed mahogany wood and is a large humidor measuring 12 3/4 inches long by 9 inches tall by 9 inches wide. The box’s lid opens on brass hinges and has a brass key lock on the face. It also has a drawer underneath with a brass finger hole handle which actually locks closed when the lid shuts with a hidden mechanism. The lid and drawer are lined with milk glass bottoms along with under the lid. It’s in great condition but the box is missing the key.
