Rare 1920s Girard Educators litho 50 cigar humidor tin in good condition

This rare 1920s “Girard Educators” litho 50 cigar humidor tin, measuring 5 1/2″ x 5 5/8″, is in good condition with no rust. One crease near the bottom edge and some minor age related paint chips and scratches. This highly attractive multicolored tin was made by the Liberty Can Company, Lancaster, PA. It features a detailed portrait of Stephen Girard, a french immigrant and merchant who died in 1831. At the time of his death Girard was considered to be the wealthiest man in America. He left an endowment for the foundation of Girard College which opened in Philadelphia, PA in 1848. The cigars were manufactured by Antonio Roig & Langsdorf Cigar Company, Philadelphia, PA in Factory 872, 1st District, PA.

Vintage Leather Humidor Box Handcrafted Mahogany & Brass 1920s-1940s Rare

This is a beautifully crafted vintage leather humidor or keepsake box, likely from the 1920s-1940s. It features hand-tooled leather, a solid mahogany (or walnut) base, and brass hardware with flathead screws, indicating early 20th-century craftsmanship. Inside, the box has an ebonized wood compartment and an original vintage Italian hygrometer. The initials’JS’ are embossed on the front, possibly indicating a custom-made piece.
