Antique Humidor Table Cushman # 546 Very Early Smoking Stand Aafa

Early classic smoking stand “A CUSHMAN SMOKER” No. Very nice all original. Period decoration on front. Mahogany stained on birch. Coppered metal lined (see pics). Two ashtray stands set into stand with 6 nickel cigar rests. And match holder – even still has the striker. The above pieces are secured into the table by period screws (original). # _46 on label (# is a little hard to read looks believe 546 from the Cushman Catalog). Very solid and clean some minor scuffing 3 small cup rings on top surface. No gouges or wood cracks. This handcrafted table dates to very early 20th century circa 1910. All period screws and hinges and latch. Original blue glass ashtrays (large center ashtray has been repaired) see pics. This unique rare smoking stand……. Measures 24-1/4″ to top of table about 30″ to top of handle. Independent ashtrays measure about 20-1/2 tall. Large ashtray (glass) 4-3/4 diameter. 2 small ashtrays 3-1/2 diameter. CUSHMAN was a Civil War Veteran who began making furniture beginning in 1892. This is one of his original design creations. Dating to around 1900 this antique oak humidor was used to store cigars or cigarettes on an after dinner table. Adorned with silverplate straps, corners and handles it has a blank cartouche on top which is ready for the next owners monogram. It is lined and divided internally with cedar to ensure moisture can be easily retained for its original purpose. This would suit any vintage kitchen, man cave or Victorian style property. A great housewarming or early holiday gift idea. MEASUREMENTS Humidor measures 4.2″ tall by 7.5″ deep by 21 wide and weighs 3lb 5oz. CONDITION In good usable condition with the two back corner brackets missing (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description). Antique NER Railway Co Model Coal Wagon 1902 Table Humidor CIGAR Oak Box

Antique NER Railway Co Model Coal Wagon 1902 Table Humidor CIGAR Oak Box. Colours may differ due to any flash used. Please check the postal DATE mark on the package when you get it. Antique oak and metal model of. Coal wagon which is quite large. Made to be on a table with cigars – cigarettes – matches inside. Probably given by the railway companies to high end clients and contractors. Well modelled with metal wheels and buffers with a hinged lid which has the key and lock still working. On the very top it has partial remains of actual COAL. It does have an ” eye ” or ” hook ” missing from one end between the buffers. Initials are painted on the oak panels and it is numbered. Probably not a date but the actual wagon number. Really well made model very life like with the panels of oak and brass pins holding it all together. It has great patina does the oak. Hinge up the lid to see two compartments inside and the match holder, match striker paper and another little compartment in the centre too. In overall fabulous antique condition. The other was a. You can google these and you may see a couple on line. There is a small bit of wood missing near the hinge part, the coal missing off the top and the hook or eye off one end. It is 13 inch long overall from buffer to buffer x 6 inch wide x 6 and a quarter inch tall. Please see close up pictures for more detail.
