Fairly good condition with some wear in the form of. 1 tiny gold colored spot on the outer front upper area. Light crazing in areas. Variation in blue color glaze in areas. Faint colored marks. Light marking along the underside base. Oxidation on the brass lid. This is for a rare tobacco jar with a Spaniel Dog smoking a pipe. The jar was most likely made in Austria during the last part of the 19th century. IN ALMOST PERFECT CONDITION. THERE IS ONE PIN HEAD SIZE MISSING DOT OF BLACK PAINT ON HIS LEFT INNER FOOT. THIS CAN BE EASILY FIXED. THERE IS ALSO A SLIGHT PURPLISH TINT AROUND THE BOW ON THE BACK OF HIS NECK ON THE LEFT LOWER SIDE. HARDLY NOTICEABLE, IN MY OPINION. THERE IS CRAZING NOTED. OTHER THAN THAT, HE IS JUST SHY OF BEING PERFECT. NO CRACKS OR REPAIRS NOTED. PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS.
