Rare MAJOLICA HUMIDOR TOBACCO JAR WITH SPANIEL DOG SMOKING A PIPE 6.25 TALL

This is for a rare tobacco jar with a Spaniel Dog smoking a pipe. The jar was most likely made in Austria during the last part of the 19th century. An example of this rare jar can be found in Dimitrios Bastas’ web site GLAZED & CONFUSED – July 26, 2010 post on Animal Humidors. (This site is The Most Informative site on majolica on the web). This hunidor is perfect for collectors of tobacco memorabilia and figural humidor enthusiasts who appreciate the beauty and rarity of these antique pieces. 6.25 inches tall by roughly 4.5 inches in diameter. Faint impressed numbers on its bottom “66 77/ 72″ – maker unknown. See Horowitz FIGURAL HUMIDORS MOSTLY VICTORIAN, PAGE 136 – Figure 603.

Delft Pottery Tobacco Jar with Brass Lid Franklin & Marshall 15 Tall Vintage

This is a large vintage Delft Pottery tobacco jar with brass lid featuring Franklin & Marshall (College) as a focal point. This piece is from the family of a previous dean / vice president of academic affairs for the college. READ DESCRIPTION to follow.. Fairly good condition with some wear in the form of. 1 tiny gold colored spot on the outer front upper area. Light crazing in areas. Variation in blue color glaze in areas. Faint colored marks. Light marking along the underside base. Oxidation on the brass lid. Please see all pictures closely for condition details. 15 tall overall with lid. 10-1/2 tall without lid. 5 wide opening at the top. Thanks for your interest!

IN ALMOST PERFECT CONDITION. THERE IS ONE PIN HEAD SIZE MISSING DOT OF BLACK PAINT ON HIS LEFT INNER FOOT. THIS CAN BE EASILY FIXED. THERE IS ALSO A SLIGHT PURPLISH TINT AROUND THE BOW ON THE BACK OF HIS NECK ON THE LEFT LOWER SIDE. HARDLY NOTICEABLE, IN MY OPINION. THERE IS CRAZING NOTED. OTHER THAN THAT, HE IS JUST SHY OF BEING PERFECT. NO CRACKS OR REPAIRS NOTED. PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS.

LARGE ANTIQUE VTG DUTCH TOBACCO JAR DELFTWARE DECORATION 11 3/4 TALL BEAUTIFUL. You are looking at a beautiful Taback tobacco jar. There are no cracks or chips noted. There are some bumps on the inside bottom and sides that I have pictured. There is a small blue dot on the back that I have pictured in photo #11. The circumference is about 30 at it’s widest point.
