Humidor is in very good antique condition with the only exception a chip on the underside of lid’s lip. I have not detected another chip, or crack in jar or moriage.

Avo 2012 wood cigar humidor that looks like a grand piano. This rare AVO 25th Anniversary Edition celebrates Avo Uvezian’s quarter of a century in the cigar business. Avo was born into a very musical family and started playing the piano at three years old. This humidor is a Limited edition #1790. It holds 25 Toro sized cigars. The humidor is in good working condition. If you are handy, the lacquer may be able to be buffed to remove the scratches. It is odor free besides the sweet aroma of cedar inside.

ANTIQUE TOBACCO JAR OF A SMILING LADY BUST ON TOP OF A BARREL. BOTTOM HAS BEEN REPAINTED TO MATCH THE LID COLORING. THE LID AND JAR ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. WHILE IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT ON THE INTERIOR OF THE BASE THERE APPEARS TO BE ADDITIONAL PLASTER AS IF TO COVER OR REPAIR A CRACK BUT THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF A CRACK EXTENDING THROUGH TO THE OUTER SHELL. THE JAR MEASURES 7 1/2″ TALL AND APPROX 4 1/2″ WIDE. IT APPEARS THAT THE LID IS PAINTED IN ITS ORIGINAL COLORS BASED ON THE COLORS SHOWN ON THE INTERIOR OF THE LID ITSELF (SHOWN IN PHOTOS). THE BASE OF THE LID BARES THE MARK/SIGNATURE OF JOHANN MARESCH AS SHOWN. THIS IS AN ESTATE FIND AND I DO NOT KNOW THE ORIGIN OR BACKGROUND OF THIS PARTICULAR PIECE.
