Antique Advertising Glass Cigar Humidor Eugene Vallens & Co 1900s Tobacco

Eugene Vallens & Co’s Choice Cigars Ribbed Glass Humidor Circa 1915. This is a lovely advertising cigar container/humidor for Eugene Vallens & Co’s CHOICE CIGARS. The body of the container is very heavy ribbed glass that is in perfect condition, no chips, scratches or cracks. The beautiful glass body is topped with a metal lid that fits snugly on the base. The humidor stands 5 1/4″ tall with the lid on and it is 5 1/4″ wide. The glass jar alone is 5″ tall and 5 1/8″ wide. The bottom of the glass jar is embossed with. There is some tarnish and small spots of oxidation & a couple of small dents on the edge of the lid. Please closely view all photos as these are considered to be part of the description and are the best indicator of condition. From a smoke free environment.

VINTAGE Copper, Brass &Tin Rumidor Tobacco Humidor/Canister RARE 1900’s Piece. WHAT MAKES THIS A RARE PIECE IS THAT IT USES 3 SEPARATE MATERIALS – A BRASS COVER, A COPPER MIDDLE & IT IS COMPLETELY TIN LINED. I HAVE NOT FOUND ANOTHER ONE LIKE IT. THE INFORMATION GIVEN LEANS IT TOWARDS ONE OF THE FIRST TO COME OUT OF THE NEW YORK FACILITY. This Rumidor is in Excellent condition. It is showing it’s age with a Beautiful Patina. It has NO DENTS or other. A 1920s era copper humidor. It measures 7 ¾ inches high and 5 7/8 inches in diameter across the bottom. There are no dents. The knob on the top of the lid turns, and has three markings on it: IN, ON, and OFF. Inside the lid is 1 7/8 inch diameter cylinder with 5 holes on the side. Turning the knob on the top adjusts the holes from being completely open to completely closed, adjusting the humidity inside. The knob turns, but is a bit stiff. The bottom of the cylinder inside the lid is stamped with U. OFF THE RUMIDOR CORPORATION NEW YORK CITY. The humidor is tin-lined inside and has age spotting.

Early 1900s Pilot Aviator Hand Painted Antique Figural Tobacco Jar Humidor

Rare circa early 1900s Hand Painted Humidor Tobacco Jar. We are not sure of the origin, but we suspect it is German or French. Marked on the bottom with raised numbers. There are a few really good repairs under the edge of the lid, as shown. The tip of the visor on his helmet has been repaired and the paint color match is excellent. There is minor rubbing wear to the original paint from age and use. Measures about 6″ tall x 5-1/2″ wide.

1900’s Majolica Tobacco Humidor, Handsome Gent Figural Tobacciana

1900’s Majolica Tobacco Humidor, Handsome Gent Figural Tobacciana. 1900’s Antique Austrian Majolica Tobacco Humidor, Handsome Gentleman Of Color. No Major Cracks, Repairs. No chips around the rim. Made in Austria and parts of what is now modern Germany and are often called Berlin Majolica. Most of the originals were made from about 1880 up until the first World War, ca. 1914, when production ceased. The difference between the majolica originals and the Reproductions are the type of clay and the glaze. This distinctive color is obvious in the unglazed bases and the unglazed rims of the lid and top rim. By contrast, the original majolica glazed pieces are made of a nearly pure white clay. The white clay of originals is apparent in the unglazed bases and rims as well as through the nicks and chips almost always found on vintage humidors. 6.5″ Height including lid 5.75″ Length at Base 4 Width at Base.
