Rare MAJOLICA HUMIDOR TOBACCO JAR WITH SPANIEL DOG SMOKING A PIPE 6.25 TALL

This is for a rare tobacco jar with a Spaniel Dog smoking a pipe. The jar was most likely made in Austria during the last part of the 19th century. An example of this rare jar can be found in Dimitrios Bastas’ web site GLAZED & CONFUSED – July 26, 2010 post on Animal Humidors. (This site is The Most Informative site on majolica on the web). This hunidor is perfect for collectors of tobacco memorabilia and figural humidor enthusiasts who appreciate the beauty and rarity of these antique pieces. 6.25 inches tall by roughly 4.5 inches in diameter. 1890s Rogers Meriden Figural Dog Silver plate Cigar humidor spaniel hunting 8

Fabulous 1890s figural silver plated, Rogers and Smith Meriden Connecticut hunting dog humidor. Measuring 8.25″ x 4.5″ x 7.5, the silver plated humidor boasts embossed foliate decoration and two large plated dogs to the double lids. One dog, a spaniel, holds a dead duck in its mouth, while the other dog looks on, perhaps jealously.

Smoking Stand Folk Art King Charles Spaniel humidor

This little stand is 24″ high 11″ deep 15 wide, made of wood. King Charles Spaniel hand painted on yellow finish. The surface has crackle distressed finish due to age. The interior is stained black wash. Copper liner is on interior top only. The front leg bottom knobs are painted black. This does need a cleaning and possibly wax finish. Perfect for a wide range of collectors. Spaniels, dogs, Tobacco, folk art, & primitive painted pieces. Believe this was probably painted around 1920s. Please feel free to ask questions. Antique German Pottery TeraCotta HUMIDOR Tree Trunk Dog Spaniel? It is pottery, terra cotta, in the shape of a hollowed tree trunk. It has a lid with a long-haired dog laying on top. It measures 4″ tall with lid, 2 3/4″ tall without. It is 5 3/4″ wide, and 4 1/2″ deep (front to back). Good used condition, functions as intended.
