Rare quality antique 1800s Victorian handmade floral wood box sculpture folk art

Up for sale is a rare antique 19th century handmade V ictorian Folk Art wooden box. The box is made of a wooden base and finished with a lovely polychromed brown finish. It’s embellished with hand sculpted detailing throughout done with a very dimensional approach and features berries and flowers. It has a skeleton key locking mechanism but does not have a key. The box is in nice antique condition and measures 17 inches long by 9 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches tall. It is missing some sculpted pieces and has some cracking and chips as shown in all photos. Smoking Stand Folk Art King Charles Spaniel humidor

This little stand is 24″ high 11″ deep 15 wide, made of wood. King Charles Spaniel hand painted on yellow finish. The surface has crackle distressed finish due to age. The interior is stained black wash. Copper liner is on interior top only. The front leg bottom knobs are painted black. This does need a cleaning and possibly wax finish. Carved Wood Folk Art Antique 13 x 8 Tin Lined Humidor Brass M. Monogram Lock Box (no key). Measurements – 3.5″ H x 13″ W x 8 D. Weight – 2 lb 9 oz. Very nice quality hand carved wood humidor box with brass inset monogram M. And tin lining, however there are some condition issues as follows: Crack across the top of the lid; rub mark below the brass monogram; no key for the lock; no chain to hold the lid when open. On the plus side: very nice quality wood; although lid is cracked the frame is not so the box is sturdy, lid fits properly and opens/closes with ease; true antique with age and character – brass inset monogram M. Original tin lining, metal button feet and lock – perhaps you can find a key’ carved panels all around except bottom. The scuffs are light and left as found – these could easily be touched up with finish feeder and look nicer than we are presenting. Up for sale is a high quality antique handmade wooden Folk Art cigar humidor box. It’s made with exquisite detailing throughout out of dense wood and has a leather wrapped domed lid wrapped in leather. The leather is painted with a figural knight scene and fastened with large brass studs. The box is also painted on each side with gorgeous design done in rich color. It has dimensional mounted cold painted praying figures on each corner along with 4 outward facing lions. The handle pivots up and down on a ball joint exposing the hidden key lock underneath. It opens on a hinge and features a removable handmade toleware box that has a compartment for a humidor block under the lid. The box is in nice condition, has acquired a lovely patina from age, and measures 14 1/2 inches long by 12 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches tall. GREAT 105mm WWII Army IDENTIFIED Trench Art Cigar Humidor, ITALY, Folk Art, GIFT

SUPER, LARGE 105mm WWII ARMY Military Trench Art Cigar Humidor, w/Nice IDENTIFICATION PLATE. DESCRIPTION: Scans show it all…. Very nicely made large WWII Trench Art cigar humidor. Made of (2) 105mm artillery bases. One serves as the bottom cylinder and the other is machined down to the base only to serve as the top. Diameter is machined slightly so that it fits nicely and tightly into the base. There is a nice large. 50 cal airplane machine gun shell round on the top, for decoration and to serve as a handle. On the bottom of the shell is the manufacturing information and the date 1944. On the top of the cover shell is some manufacturing information as well. THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS IS THAT THERE IS A SILVER PLATE RIVETTED TO THE SIDE WITH THE NAME “RICHARD LEARMONTH, ITALY”. My guess is that he was certainly an officer to have something made so nicely for him, AND VERY LIKELY A FLYER CONSIDERING THE MACHINE GUN ROUND DECORATION ON IT. Very nicely made, in excellent condition, with a light aged patina. It appears that it was polished at the time and has been well cared for and taken care of over the years and still has a nice bright aged finish as shown. A particularly unique, usable trench art item!! Stands about 10 3/4″ high to the tip of the bullet, 5″ high to the top of the cylinder/bottom part, and the latter is of course 105mm diameter. Something VERY DIFFERENT for your Trench Art or AIR CORPS collections…… NAMED TRENCH ART TO THE OWNER AND BATTLE AREA IS VERY HARD TO COME BY THESE DAYS!!! Nicely made and nice for display. Can also obviously be used. If you want the best, this is it. A lot of brass and extremely heavy!
