SCARCE LATE 19TH CENTURY GLOBE TOBACCO COMPANY, DETROIT, MICHIGAN, CIRCA 1882, AME RI CAN ANTIQUE TOBACCO HUMIDOR, with EMBOSSED AMBER GLASS BARREL BODY, ORIGINAL TIN SCREW LID & WIRE HANDLE with LATHE-TURNED WOOD HAND GRASP PAINTED in BLACK ENAMEL, DETROIT, MICHIGAN. Featuring GLASS PRODUCTION STRETCH. Late 19th century Ame ri can antique primitive glass & tin lid, decorative tobacco humidors for. Cigars & pipe tobacco. 7″ Height (handle down) x 9 1/2″ Height (handle up). X 4 5/8″ Width (Barrel) x 3 7/8″ Width (tin lid). For sale is this very nice and very well-preserved, late 19th century Ame ri can antique primitive, pressed amber glass with tin screw lid, wire handle and lathe-turned, black enamel painted wooden hand grasp, tobacco humidor, produced by the Globe Tobacco Co. Detroit, Michigan, circa 1882. It was recently discovered here in a southern New Hampshire estate along the Massachusetts border and is without any cracks or noticeable glass loss. The amber glass has naturally occurring stretch marks in its glass sidewalls, a sign of early, pre-20th century glass production. Its form is meant to resemble a staved wooden barrel cask for storing any number of things in. The screw-on tin lid is original to the glass body and is intact, without dings, dents, loss or deformities and only has some very slight, minimal signs of oxidation on its tin surfaces. The front glass sidewall of the humidor is clearly embossed with the raised typography’Globe Tobacco Company, Detroit, Michigan, Pat. In glorious, well-preserved overall antique condition. RARE Vintage American Heritage Collection Ltd Edition White House Cigar Humidor

RARE Vintage American Heritage Collection Ltd Edition White House Cigar Humidor. Material: Ceramic Shell w/ Cedar Wood Inside. Size: 24 1/4″L x 13 1/2″W x 12H. Offered is a hard to find Limited Addition American Heritage Collection “The White House Humidor”. Only 500 of these humidors were made. Excellent and highly detailed craftsmanship of the White House. The humidor opens up at the top half and is hinged with quality piano brass. There’s a black plaque label with “The White House American Heritage Collection” on top right corner. The humidor holds about 200 or more cigars and has two removable Spanish cedar trays. The inside of the White House is also lined with cedar. There’s also a marble pattern look all of the White House. The windows are black and carries the same pattern. When first glanced seems to be dirty but it’s not it’s just the patterns. Measures are 25 1/4″ long, 13 1/2″ wide and 12 tall. This humidor is very heavy and weighs like maybe approx. 30 pounds give or take. Good condition but it does have a few very small chips around the edges. Also, it looks like someone tried to glue one of the cedar dividers to the edge of the box so there is some glue residue inside it. See the description and photos for details.
