Hard To Find Antique Black Forest Owl Humidor Nicely hand Carved with Glass Eyes

Offering this fine example of a Hand Carved Black Forest Humidor made in the 1920s. The Piece is aprox. 10.25″ tall x 5.25″ in diameter. One of the most sought after Black Forest Pieces and Collectors pieces is (Owls)…… I love them too! When you do find the Owl Humidors, they are usually very expensive. I find this piece makes me happy to look at, with its wide open Glass eyes, Feather head dress, and open Beak. I certainly couldn’t find one in a better condition. Antique Art Deco Amboyna Burr Wood Cigar Humidor, & Cigar Cutters, Dunhill Style

ANTIQUE ART DECO AMBOYNA BURR WOOD CIGAR HUMIDOR, & CIGAR CUTTERS, DUNHILL STYLE. A very handsome antique amboyna burr wood cigar humidor. Dating to the first half of the 20th Century. The superb quality box, in the manner of Dunhill but with no identifying makers mark. Is veneered in rich amboyna burr wood with cedar wood lining and two internal compartments. The lid houses the brass mounted humidifier. The internal fitments, hinges and lock are also brass, the lock marked’SECURE LEVER, D&SL’. The original key is provided for the fully working lock. The base is covered with black fabric. A gilt metal plaque with the initials’EGT’ in Art Deco script is attached to the. The box contains a pair of gold coloured scissor action cigar cutters by CTS Solingen, contained in a leather pouch. Height: 13.5 cm or 5 1/4 inches. Depth: 21.6 cm or 8 1/2 inches. Width : 24.2 cm or 9 1/2 inches. Length cutters: 8.6 cm or 3 3/8 inches. Unpackaged Weight: 2200 grams. In good antique condition, with expected age related light wear and signs of use to the outer surface. Internal humidifier will need re-charging. Welcome to my item! Here we are offering a LOVELY Light Blue Jasper Ware Humidor decorated with a Fox Hunt Scene that goes all the way around the body in a applied Bright White, Border of White four petal flowers decorate the cover. The fittings are metal. It has a glossy blue interior and it is has the black ink stamp marked “Comoy’s of London , Dudson Hanley, Jasper Ware Made in England since 1800″. Exact time of production is not known to me. In excellent condition throughout. I have looked high and low and found NO Other pieces like this, the Fox Hunt Scene, even with a Dog attacked Dead Fox Scene, is quite Uniquely Rare. This Humidor measures almost 5″ high to rim/lip, 5¾” across rim, 4-5/8″ across cover, 6″ across widest point of the body and 4¾ across the in-mold foot. ANTIQUE DUNHILL AIRTIGHT CIGAR HUMIDOR BOX Art Deco Mahogany Cigar Case Holder

Early C20th mahogany Dunhill “Airtight” cigar humidor, cylindrical on shape with twelve (dodecagon) cut sides above three bun shaped wooded feet. The one piece turned bevelled edged mahogany lid lifts off to reveal the lead weight airtight seal with Dunhills PATENT number 11832/13 together with the London address and the silver foil lined interior of the case. The lid has been turned out of one piece of wood. Dia 15.8cm widest point. Light wear overall, the lid showing a more visible tiny scuff. The cigar box which has a lovely polished patina to the mahogany is excellent. Antique Walnut Burr Cigar Box Humidor Tobacco Smokers Table Cabinet Apothecary

Quality antique walnut burr wood humidor table top cabinet / box. Featuring brass flush military handles to the side of the cabinet and to each dovetailed drawers lined with cedar. The walnut has a wonderful grain with a lovely patina. There are marks, knocks, signs of wear/use all adding to it’s look. There are some losses to the ebony edging. The right door has been repaired at some point. Please note the item does not come with a key and the lock looks damaged, however the door stays closed. Overall a rare cabinet in good antique condition. Please note the following.
