For your Consideration is a 1920s to 1940s Antique Indian Chief wearing a Headdress Hand Painted Ceramic Tobacco Jar. It is 7 1/2 inches tall with lid on with the lid off its 4 1/2 inches high and 4 1/2 by 4 inches at the base. It is not makers marked. Its in GOOD used Shape No Chips or Cracks. A GREAT Item for a Pipe Smoker’s Collection. I have only ever seen one other of this jar in our many years of collecting. Please check out the other items we have listed.
This scarce 1910s “Saeger’s Hand Made” litho 50 cigar humidor tin, measuring 5 1/2″ x 5 1/4″, in good condition with a small crease on the lid edge, some interior superficial rust and some minor age related paint chips and scratches. Much of the original high gloss finish remains. This very attractive ivory tin features black, gold and red graphics advertising Saeger;s Hand Made brand of cigars. The cigars were manufactured by The Saeger Tobacco Company, Freemont, NE in Factory 43, District of NE.

Rare circa early 1900s Hand Painted Humidor Tobacco Jar. Probably made in Austria. There are some repairs along the top rim and a few spots of repainting on top of the original paint. The paint on the bottom of the jar and lid is original (it matches another example). There are normal signs of age, overall. Measures about 8″ tall x 6″ wide.

Rare circa early 1900s Hand Painted Humidor Tobacco Jar. We are not sure of the origin, but we suspect it is German or French. Marked on the bottom with raised numbers. There are a few really good repairs under the edge of the lid, as shown. The tip of the visor on his helmet has been repaired and the paint color match is excellent. There is minor rubbing wear to the original paint from age and use. Measures about 6″ tall x 5-1/2″ wide.

There are some minor chips/flakes on the rims of the lid and jar. There is an old chip on the underside of the hat brim. We do not see any repairs or repainting. There is rubbing wear to the original paint from age and use. Measures about 6-3/4″ tall x 5-1/2″ wide.
