This is a rare find of an early cast bronze humidor with beautiful cedar lining. You can see the green hue of verdigris around the sides. The item is stamped 140 underneath. The box measures 6.5″ x 4.5″ x 3.25 and weighs 3.5 pounds. The cedar lining inside has a little play to it if you try to move it with your finger. I think not all of the pins that originally held this in place are still in tact. This is a great find for those who collect antique humidors and boxes.
